The bridges were cool, but we didn't like being a part of such a large group. Additionally, there were so many groups on the trail that it felt claustrophobic. It felt like more of a commercial venture than a nature tour. Not as much wildlife as we expected. It was ok, but disappointing compared with other experiences on this trip.

The guide was ok on this trip. He did not add a lot of comments or knowledge to the experience. I enjoyed the scenery. We had to wait for about 20 minutes afterwards to return because we had to wait for another group to finish, which was not ideal.

The shuttle shuffle was very interesting and I'm impressed it the logistics of picking up people and combining groups. I was disappointed with the wild life on this tour (I know it's out of the control) but it was still beautiful. The bridges were exciting and Orlando was a fun tour guide.

Many times your experiences are influenced by the other people on the tour. In our case, young women more interested in talking very loudly and taking selfies. We wanted to see flora and fauna as well as the suspension bridges. So we enjoyed being up above the canopy and the views of the volcano it was disappointing. Having said all that is is not the fault of the guide or the company. I do actually think the guide wasn’t excited about the tour but agin feel he probably felt the same way we did about others on tour. I would have hated this one at peak tourist season but still glad we did it.

This was a very good tour. The only reason my ratings aren't higher is because the other tours we had already done were so great. This is definitely a worthwhile tour, but if you have to choose between ziplining or the sloth tour, do those first.

Least favorite excursion. A busy day, so there were lines to go over the bridge. The guide was very knowledgeable, but one member of our group was scheduled to catch transportation after the tour, so we were rushed through to make up for the wait times at the beginning of the tour.

This was a great first activity. It was the right amount of "thrill" for my youngest child. It was a bit of a early excursion after a long day of travel the day before but it was nice. We saw some interesting birds, reptiles and insects. Our guides were essential in pointing out the wildlife.

Upon reflection, I do wish we had done some independent hiking inside the actual Arenal Volcano national park. I also heard the waterfall was worth it. I guess we'll have to come back!

This was a great tour to get out and see the rain forest. We saw several species of animals and our guide was fantastic about locating them. He also took photos for us all along the way. You get to see the rain forest at different levels. It is alot of walking so wear comfortable shoes.

the tour guide pointed out some fun animal life and remembered to summarize at the end, but made a lot of attempts at jokes that completely fell flat and was awkward. at one point we had a family behind us with their own tour guide and the woman was complaining very loudly about "having paid a lot of money so they didn't have to wait behind these large tour groups" (ours had about 10 people in it). The paths were pretty single file at some points. What the tour guides should have is a system for these situations where they can be more aware of each other and better set expectations for their people touring.

The van was roomy and clean. The guides were friendly and spoke English well. The tour was just the right amount of time, but they ran about an hour behind, so the tour ended right at dark. Other than that, it was a great experience!

Another fantastic guide and experience. The guides are great at pointing out animals and insects that I would have totally missed. The guides are great at taking pictures of the animals with your phone utilizing their telescopes. The scenery was breathtaking. It felt like we were walking on top of the jungle.

Awesome tour. Loved getting to walk across the hanging bridges and looking out over the rainforest. Our guide was amazing. Only downside was that we had another group with use on the tour with two young boys that were not very well behaved, but that was not the tours fault and our guide handled it very well.

This was possibly one of my favorite excursions! The bridges were so cool, and my guide was fantastic. It's been a dream of mine to visit the rainforest, ever since I was a child, and being able to see frogs and birds and other animals in their natural environment was amazing. My guide was incredibly knowledgeable, and it made the tour even better.

The guide was SUPER informative, friendly and really worked to ensure all of us were engaged in the activity. His accent was a bit hard to understand at times but he was always patient and willing to repeat himself. Took extra time with my kids to help them spot the animals and spoke to them at 'their level' so they remained engaged on the 2 mile walk.

This is the best experience we have in Costa Rica. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took care to make sure everyone not miss anything. Not only he pointed out things to see, he also shared a lot of facts. We learnt a lot. I also appreciated that the tour provided us with water and binoculars! And the guide also helped us with taking family pictures as well as pointing out good picture opportunities.

This was a nice introduction to the rain forest. The walk was easy and the guide was knowledgeable. This was a perfect first activity. We likely would have not enjoyed it as much if it came after zip lining or some of our other activities, but it was an excellent way to start, especially after a long day of travel the day before.

I would recommend, if possible, to book all English speaking or all Spanish speaking on one tour so the poor guide doesn't have to say everything twice.

This was beautiful and unique. We should have gone on our own to hike it. It would have saved money and been much less time. Our guide was great! However, we asked Amy if we could wear Keen hiking shoes and she said yes. When we arrived at the hanging bridges, we were pulled to the side and were asked to sign a waiver because we had the wrong shoes on. They wanted everyone to wear completely closed shoes like tennis shoes with no openings like the keen shoes had. Please change this in your pre-trip literature.

Absolutely amazing tour guide, Pierre. He was so knowledgeable and really brought the whole forest to life with his explanations of what we saw and we're experiencing. I would hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends.

For whatever reason, we saw very few animals, although our guide was great pointing out tiny things (bats, insects, a viper) on our walk. It was a beautiful walk, but may not have been worth the price overall given how little we saw in the canopy.

Amazing and beautiful place, scary bridges for anyone who has any semblance of vertigo. Knowledgeable and passionate guide (Pierre) who was exceptionally attentive and helpful to the extent of taking numerous photos for all individual and groups on the experience including panoramic pics from the middle of the 30M high hanging bridge!!! A nice experience overall.

This tour was great. I really love that it's off season. We were very lucky to have gotten a picture on the bridge and have the view of the Arenal volcano. Our tour guide Elena was also wonderful. Not only she's knowledgeable but also made sure we are good, taking our photos and making the our trip wonderful.

I have mixed emotions about this tour because the place was truly beautiful. I expected the rain and guide warned us about it, yet when it did start raining he completely stopped looking for animals or talking about the place and just rushed us through bridges. When we got to the bus they offered wet (!!) towels to refresh, would have been nice to have dry ones if they decide to provide that at all.

I had been skeptical about this tour since the Monteverde sky walk experience. More bridges, a longer trek, and more strenuous trails between the bridges. So after arriving and hiking a few hundred yards uphill, we decided not to continue. The guide was understanding.

We expected a less crowded environment than the one we experienced, which took away from the 'wilderness' experience. Our tour group kept bumping up against other groups, or were bumped by following groups. The facility should do a better job of spacing out the groups. That being said, we did see some interesting wildlife.

unbelievably good guide. He could spot things that we would have never, ever seen. We were incredibly lucky to see sloths, howler monkey (right on the bridge with us), a snake and birds etc... My 9 year old began the walk crying and grumpy because of a bit of rain, but this guide changed her mood immediately with his skill.

We were "forgotten" for our pickup time- we called, and another van was dispatched to collect us, so we were 45 mins late joining the tour. We felt bad because we delayed everyone else, although it was not our fault. Can't say enough positive things about our guide, Pierre. he was absolutely brilliant. A fantastic tour.

The only thing I would have changed was that I had more time taking pictures, recording etc. The guide seemed to be in a rush at times even though there was only one other guest outside of our group; a total of 3. This was the one tour where I had the least amount of pictures to look at. The Hanging Bridges was thrilling for me since I had never been on a suspended bridge that high. I found it to be scary! The park was very nice and photogenic.

It was nice to have a paved walk & enjoyed the tour. Angie's English wasn't quite as good as some, or maybe it was because she had a pretty thick accent & spoke fast. Slowing down would help. She also answered some questions with very vague answers ("that was a bird", "howler monkeys can be heard from some distance" - we had learned from Jason it was 3 miles).
