Rated high, but mixed review for the following reasons:
1. All four of us in one bungalow, but the bungalow had only one bedroom, not two, so all four of us crammed in together.
2. All bathroom noises and activities heard by all at all times given open layout.
3. Without a car you are captive to the Lodge - no where to go unless you walk the 2.6 miles in to "town" and 2.6 miles back (like we did for something to eat other than the lodge food).
4. Given that all we did was the 3 hour Celeste River hike, spending 2 full days here was a bit unnecessary. Would not recommend a second night for our itinerary.
5. No internet or wireless, so we were completely unplugged for two days. Not saying that was a bad thing, but one result was that they only accepted cash, no credit card.
Note: the weather here appears to be perpetually horrible. Clouds, rain, fog and howling winds at night, the whole time. Not a negative comment - just an observation.
Despite all the above, the lodge is very nice and comfortable. Very clean and everything worked (but internet). The owners are also very nice and took good care of us. Food was good and place is clean and well maintained. For us, being away from everything for two days was OK, but may be for everyone.
