Overview
Hotel Luisiana is a unique boutique style hotel located in downtown Santa Ana, a high end area of San Jose, located just 25 minutes from the International Airport. The hotel was originally built in the 1950’s as a large home modeled after the American south. In 2008 the property was purchased by Italians who completely remodeled it and turned it into Hotel Luisiana, honoring it´s style with the name. Hotel amenities include restaurant, swimming pool, tropical gardens, and internet.
Santa Ana is a safe and upscale area of San Jose, where you can find all of the services you need from banks, restaurants, bars, night life, pharmacies, grocery stores, and even a large elegant mall just 10 minutes away. The hotel is also a great base for your one day adventures, like visits to downtown San Jose to stroll the city or visit the museums and stunning National Theater. Keep in mind other tours like white water rafting, Poas Volcano tours, and others may charge an extra fee to pick up in this area outside of the heart of San Jose.
